Get Involved
 Think of your favorite chair, or the chair of someone special in your life. When you see that chair, you can’t help but think of the person who usually sits in it.
This is the goal of the Donate Life Ohio Green Chair Campaign, to bring to mind the many different people affected by organ, eye and tissue donation. Recipients. Donor families. Those waiting for a transplant. And the families of those who died waiting.
The Green Chair is an invitation to anyone who has been touched by organ, eye and tissue donation to share their story. It is intended to be an icon of hope and encouragement, that as the number of registered donors increases, the fewer empty chairs there will be.

Volunteer
With a goal of educating all Ohioans, there is a vital role that you can play as a volunteer with your local recovery agency in helping to save the lives of the thousands currently waiting for a second chance through donation.

Activities to promote donation and support individuals touched by donation and transplantation occur throughout the year all across the state. Please check the listings.

Ohio's businesses and professional associations can play a unique role in saving lives as a Workplace Partner for Life.
Support
Special projects to educate Ohioans about the need for organ, eye and tissue donation are funded through voluntary donations to the Ohio Department of Health's Second Chance Trust Fund.
