The Together We Can Save Lives is a resource kit designed to help high school teachers educate students about organ, eye and tissue donation. When asked, "Do you want to register as a donor?" by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, teens can then make an informed decision. This kit makes it easy to incorporate donation education into lesson plans and to meet school district educational objectives.

Educator Resource Kit This comprehensive booklet contains everything needed to educate students about donation.		Student Handout - Talking to Your Family About Donation. Send this card home with students so they can talk about donation with their families.
Legacy of Life Video. Legacy of Life – A Story of Teen Heroes tells the real-life story of one Ohio family’s experience with donation. It also provides statistics, facts and medical straight-talk about how donation really works.		Activities and Presentations. Create lesson plans on real-life subject matter: Who Gets the Heart Life-Size Skeleton Printout ORGAN Bingo Teacher Presentation Corneal Blindness Glasses . Contact the your local Donate Life Ohio representative (see map below) to request a hard copy of the kit, including special glasses that simulate corneal blindness.
Lesson Ideas Donation can easily be tied to a variety of subjects including biology, health, math, statistics, consumer sciences, government and language arts.
